Horses

Last week, some friends of ours invited us over to go horseback riding with them and their horses. We had a blast! Caleb loved the horses, the dirt, and playing with their little boy, Jace! Mike and I had a great time riding too, and I surprised myself by NOT falling off the horse the whole time we were riding! Haha!! Mike was great because he grew up with horses; he was my teacher! What a guy! :)

Thank you Anthony, Shannon, and Kimberly for inviting us to go riding! We had fun!

"Hmmm, smells funny... should I touch it?" He almost did, but we stopped him. Hopefully, someday he will have discernment. :)

It was 73 degrees and beautiful this afternoon, so the kids and I went to the park and then we went shopping! Caleb got a new suit for church and we snapped a few pictures tonight when we got home. Such a handsome fella! The pictures are kind of out of order, sorry!

Abbie decided to crawl away and check out the grass. She was really tired so she wasnt that adventurous during our time there. Maybe next time I'll remember not to go to the park during nap time. Ha ha! :)

In the water- his absolute favorite part of the day! Even though I rolled up his pants, he still got them all wet, so we had to let them dry in the sun for a bit afterwards. I think it was worth it to him though- he kept asking to go back in the water!

Mike and I enjoyed spending the weekend in Gattlinburg at the Couples Retreat that Temple Baptist Church hosts each February! It was a blessing to get away and hear the special speakers' marriage seminars. We had a wonderful time! Mike's mom and dad came down from MN for the couples retreat as well, so we had a great time with them too! On Sunday, they came to church with us, we had spaghetti at our house for lunch, and then a great evening service Sunday night. We got to spend all day Monday with them and had such a wonderful time; we were sad to see them go early this morning! Thank you, Mom and Dad, for all you did while you were here and for taking the time to come down and visit with us! We love you and miss you already!! See you in May!
